The first glimpse of the upcoming streaming series ‘Made in India: A Titan Story’ has finally arrived. The unveiling took place on Wednesday, marking the 11th anniversary of the Indian government’s iconic ‘Make in India’ campaign.
Leading the cast are veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, essaying the role of JRD Tata, and actor Jim Sarbh, who brings Xerxes Desai to life. They are joined by Namita Dubey, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Kaveri Seth, Lakshvir Saran, and Paresh Ganatra in pivotal roles.

Reflecting on his role, Shah said, “Portraying JRD Tata is both a privilege and a responsibility. He was a man who combined vision with humanity. Stories like this are rare. They are deeply tied to the very making of modern India. ‘Made in India’ is not just about a company. It is about a legacy that inspires generations.”

JRD Tata, one of India’s most respected industrialists, led the Tata Group from 1938 to 1991, expanding into sectors such as steel, automobiles, chemicals, and hospitality. For his lifetime of contributions, he received the Bharat Ratna in 1992.
Jim Sarbh, who plays Xerxes Desai, commented, “Xerxes Desai was a visionary who saw opportunities where others saw obstacles. Playing him allowed me to explore the determination and belief required to build something lasting. This series is about grit, innovation, and believing in an idea bigger than yourself.”
